LC specific references are explained here.
- The terms ``probe'' and ``source'' refer exclusively to LC
blocks of the same name.
- The boundary conditions used here are PML (perfectly matched
layers), an absorbing boundary condition known for its extremely low
reflection when absorbing incoming plane waves. Waves that are
traveling along the boundary, not into it, and non-homogenous material
grids reduce the efficiency of the PML boundaries.
- The selection of an LC command appears in the form
main command||subcommand, where
main command is the menu button on the main menu, and
subcommand is selected from the drop down menu that
appears as a result of selecting main command.
