Diagonal blocks and LC 2.7

Hello there,

I've started using LC2.7 recently and I've been trying to use diagonal 
block. After I create the blocks, I tried to run the simulation, and LC 
stops respnding. I waited at least 10 minutes and nothing happened.
I tried using the Edit->Mesh option before running the simulation after 
selected the diagonal block, after I clicked to convert, LC stopped 
responding again. 

My question: Is there a bug in version 2.7 of LC  or am  I not following 
the correct procedure ?

I'll appreciate any suggestions.
